With Helppier you can customize all the steps created.
Each step created needs to have an action associated. By default, the action applied is walkthrough step, the usual next option in a bubble. Helppier has the ability to perform user actions that allow to navigate through different menus (click), for example.
To access Actions, select the 3rd icon on the toolbar while recording/editing your Step.
Helppier has different types of actions. Learn in this article the best way to use all options, you can select what action the tutorial will perform in each step.
Used when you want to give instructions and an explanation exactly on a page element. You can use this to create a tour through a page or to teach users how to fill a specific form.
Click on element
Used to click on a page element and redirect users to another page. The guide will continue displaying on the page you redirected.
The MouseOver option allows attaching a tutorial step on a hover menu or in an element that doesn't always appear on the screen of a website.
This option will move the user to the next step when the selected element is hidden. The button Next will never show up in this step while the button Previous won't show up the following step.
If the element is a dropdown menu, select here the option to attach the bubble.
You can simulate text insertion into text fields. Add the description that will be shown inside the text field when the guide is being played.
Used to show a quick message to the user in the center of the screen. You can onboard new users or give general information about your business. Make sure to insert media and links for more conversion!
