Helppier provides an easy-to-use interface that allows you to edit and preview how your guides and messages will look at the same time.
Helppier merges the admin interface with the end-user interface on top of your website. This means you can see how your guides and messages look at the time of creation and customization.
With this type of interface, you can see all the changes you make instantly, and preview how it will look for your users before publishing.
Our admin interface is divided into two main areas:
1- Installation Dashboard
This is where it all starts. On your dashboard, you will set up all your account details.
You can add your app/domain, copy your installation code, customize your Helppier theme, manage your subscriptions, and access your full analytics dashboard.
In the Install area, you have two options:
A) Chrome Extension - Helppier will work as a layer and your guides will be private (perfect to try our tool);
B) Snippet Code - Helppier will be completely integrated into your website HTML and users will be able to see your published guides.
To access your dashboard you can log in on our website www.helppier.com
2 - Guides Tool
After setting up your account and installing Helppier on your app/website/domain you can finally start creating guides.
We offer a range of samples (popups, alerts, banners, etc) that you can use and customize to fit your needs.
To start creating guides you need to click on Helppier's launcher and click on "New Guide".
The process of recording is very simple:
- Click on an element of your page;
- A default message will appear;
- Type your text;
- Customize the colors, position, and layout using the sidebar;
- Repeat all the steps until you have all the steps of your guide;
- Preview and Save using the bottom bar;
End Users: Publishing Guides
If you're ready to publish your guides to users on your website or platform you can do so in your guide's settings. Remember, that you need to have Helppier's snippet code installed on your site.
If you don't want to show your guides to all users, you can target specific guides to specific types of users using segmentation and dynamic urls.
