How to change the Page Element of a step

Sometimes when you are creating a guide you need to change the element that you previously selected. To do this you don't need to delete the step.

 

Helppier allows changing to a new element by clicking on the number of the step that you want to change and reselect a new element. As displayed below.

 

1. In recording mode, click on the number of the step you'd like to change.

Then, click on the bubble's menu located on the top left and select "Change Page Element". A sidebar with more options will open.

 

2. In the "Change Page Element" section in the sidebar, you have two options to reselect a new element: Auto and Manually.

If you're not a developer we recommend using the Auto option.

Click on the "Change Element" button. 

3.  Select the new element of your page that you want to attach the guide.

4. Click on the icon "Save" in the bottom bar.
