Start guide: How to define the frequency for automated guides/messages

Helppier allows you to deliver the right message at the right place and time.

Using the Start Guide feature you can define the frequency on which your guide will appear to users on your website.

To define the frequency please follow these steps:

1 - Go to your guides list and click on "Edit"

2 - Click on "Edit" near the "Target & Publish" area

3 - Click on "Add Start Action"

4 - Selec the option "Autoplay"

5 - Within the available options "From element" or "From URL" click on "Configure and Install" in the option that you want.

6 - A list of different options will appear so you can define how many times your guide will appear to users.

6.1 - Timer allows you to define the seconds to wait until your message appears on a specific page.

6.2 - If you want to create a campaign during two specific dates you can use Time Interval.

6.3 - For more advanced options go to the Frequency card.

You can show:

A) Every time the page is refreshed.

B) Every time the user opens your site on a new tab or session;

C) You can define the number of days that the guide is shown again;

Stop showing the guide:

A) Continue showing the guide/message to users.

B) After the user views the last step, or views your guide a certain number of times.

6.4 - After selecting your frequency click on "Apply Action" to save all changes.
